Finished! Sorta...

I spent the entire day practically getting these finished up and I just finished. I say finished sorta because I still need to go back and make sure everything works. I checked them a little when I was putting them together, but I have a list of stuff to check and make sure everything is working how I want it to.

So happy it's done! So happy in fact that I applied for two new fanlistings today... it's a sickness, I swear hahahaha

Got a lot done today. I got all of the fanlisting tables reinstalled and uploaded all the images I have for my fanlistings. Between now and Thursday I will finish setting up the layouts and everything.

I got the rest of the layouts made today, so woohoo!!! I also got the Seattle Mariners and Class of 2009 fanlistings up. So my list of fanlistings to install looks like this:

Status update

I've reinstalled my joined fanlistings, but I am still in the process of resetting up my owned fanlistings. Since the process of putting them together is the easier part of the whole process, I devoted today to making layout headers and I have 29 left to make (I made roughly 21 today).

Thought I'd fill you all in on the status before I head to bed:

I hope to get some more done tomorrow but then I have to take a couple days break for some more pressing issues at hand.

Uploading site stuff as I type, hope to get everything except for the http://fans.break-my-fall.org stuff up tonight... but I gotta go to bed soon and I have to get up really early to go with mom to visit my papa. But I'm good to go so far :-D

We're back!

Ok so not officially back... but the domain is back up and running. I'm currently running scans on my main computer but as soon as it's back up and running I will start the upload process. As I've said many times the fanlistings will be the hardest part, but here's my plan of attack:

1. Sports fanlistings - I got an email about them being down yesterday and I have until the 17th to get them back up and running
2. Academia/ Directors /Literature /Movies /Places / TV /Webmasters/Websites
3. Actors/Actresses
4. Albums
5. Animation
6. Characters
7. Relationships
8. Songs

I'm going out of town for a few hours tomorrow, but like I've said I want to have it all back up and running by next Thursday, August 20th.

Almost ready!

Amy just informed me that the transfer is completed and that she'll setup the hosting part tomorrow. Then the real fun begins :)

I made a few more layouts tonight, but I still have a lot more to go.

updates

The domain is still in the process of transferring to the new host and I've finished 13 of 65 layouts for my fanlistings; I have 66 fanlistings, but I've decided to close one. I hope to have all the layouts done before the website goes back up and I'm sticking with the same style for every layout so it'll be easier to put up.

Process has begun

Yesterday the transfer process started in the early afternoon and it could take up to 6 days for it to get completed.

I'm taking the opportunity at hand to redo all of my fanlistings, but I'm going to use the exact same coding for every single layout so that should diminish a lot of the install time. I plan to work on those while I'm watching baseball games and what not. I have a total of 66 fanlistings at this time, but I might be closing a few more so we'll see.

Here's to hoping everything runs smoothly from here on out.

Moving

I decided to moved break-my-fall.org to a cheaper hosting service run by one of my friends. Therefore there will be some shake up with how things show up for the next couple weeks.

I'm in the process of backing up all my files and databases onto my computer and depending on how things move to the new server it could be a very easy process or a very hard one.

The plus side is that I've eliminated a lot of my databases when I got ride of my wordpress websites and converted them to dreamweaver so all of those sites will be easy to restore.

My fanlistings is the part I'm dreading the most. I'm not sure how hard or easy it will be to restore them, so that will be the most time consuming part of the whole process.

But anyway, when it's all said and done I'll have more money in my pocket and it'll be awesome.
